AZAD Held Protest Rally in Washington Against Unlimited Presidency in Azerbaijan |

 Washington, DC. December 30, 2008: Azerbaijani-Americans for Democracy (AZAD) group organized protest picket of Azerbaijani-Americans and friends of Azerbaijan against constitutional changes removing term limits on presidency in Azerbaijan. The rally was held in front of the Embassy of Azerbaijan Republic in the United States and lasted for over two hours.
Protesters held signs “No to Monarchy”, “Save Republic”, “No King for Azerbaijan” and “Monarchy=Slavery”. The petition read during the protest action was delivered to the staff of Azerbaijani Embassy at the end of the picket.
