Photosession: Ganja Celebrates President Ilham Aliyev's Birhtday PDF Print E-mail

BAKU. December 24, 2008: Azeri news website Day.az reports that in the city of Ganja a group of people came up with the initiative to prepare a giant cake to celebrate president Ilham Aliyev's 47th birhtday. The cake is 30 meters long and weighs 5 tonns. The cake has a shape of the Azeri flag with the Azeri state symbol on it and beneath it there is a writing "47" signifying president Aliyev's age. Below are the photos from the photosession of Day.az showing the monarchic ritual in the ancient city of Azerbaijan - Ganja:
